This collection is property of the New York State Dietetic Association.

The collection consists of the minutes of the executive board (1935-59); financial reports and audits (1960-88); convention notebooks (1970-90); the "NYSDA Bulletin" (1937-1990); and board of directors' minutes (1984-86). Includes manuals; policies and procedures; 1970 incorporation materials; handbooks; promotional and educational films; fact sheets; and misc.

The New York State Dietetic Association was founded in 1930 at Rochester (New York) General Hospital. From the 16 charter members, NYSDA had grown to over 4,000 registered dieticians by 1996. Its mission is to act as advocate of the dietetic profession, serving the public through promotion of optimal nutrition, health and well being.
