We recognize the need in our community to provide financial counsel and assistance to those patients with limited income who find it difficult to meet the expenses incurred in receiving health care services at Rochester Regional Health.
In keeping with our mission and values to enhance lives and preserve the health of our community and patients by enabling access to a comprehensive, fully integrated network of the highest quality and most affordable care, delivered with kindness, integrity, and respect, Rochester Regional Health offers a Financial Assistance Program. No one will be denied services based on inability to pay and discounts are available based on family size and income.
Financial Assistance Applications
If you cannot afford to pay for part or all of your essential health care services, you may be eligible for Financial Assistance / Charity Care. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. There are discounted/sliding fee schedules available for those who may need it.
Finding healthcare coverage
If you do not have health insurance coverage, several programs are available through New York State, including:
Medicaid – a program for New Yorkers who cannot afford to pay for medical care
Child Health Plus – a plan specifically for children under the age of 19
New York State of Health – New York State’s health insurance marketplace that offers low-cost, quality health insurance plans
