  With both of my pregnancies, I knew I wanted to have an unmedicated, natural birth and needed a provider who would be supportive of my plan. From beginning to end, not only were the midwives completely supportive of my decisions, but they also provided exceptional, informed care that assured me that my baby and I were in the best hands possible. Even after my daughter was born, they were wonderful to work with; they really care about the whole health of their patients and provided an open environment where I knew I could talk to them about anything. They always checked in to see how I was doing, both mentally and physically, and it was so great to have such a close rapport and relationship with them. I am so grateful to have had this experience with them, and would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

  At my first appointment with the midwives, I was surprised at how committed they were to getting to know me as a whole person and not just a patient— they asked questions about my life, my interests, and my family so they could understand who I was and what I wanted. Later, I attended a “Meet the Midwives” event so I could meet the rest of the midwives and get a tour or the labor and delivery room. During the event, they explained that the word “midwife” itself means to be “with woman,” and that perfectly describes my experience with them. Throughout my entire pregnancy and even afterward, they were there for me every step of the way. I never felt like I was just a patient; I was a friend. When you get pregnant, whether it’s your first or your fifth, it’s life-changing. And when you’re in the middle of it, you want someone else to be excited with you and not act like it’s just another pregnancy. I never doubted how much they cared about me, and they made it a truly memorable experience for our whole family. I would recommend them to anyone!

  When the doctor I had been seeing for gynecologic care left her practice, I started looking around for new providers, and my mother-in-law recommended that I check out the midwives. I was done with having babies and had never really considered seeing a midwife for standard gynecologic care since I thought they were mainly all about supporting women through childbirth. Additionally, I’ve struggled with a few different gynecologic issues throughout my life and was unsure of how well they were equipped to handle them, but I decided to give them a try and I’m so happy I did. Not only do they provide exceptional care, but they do so in such a comforting and friendly way that I never feel like I’m just another patient. From when you call to when you go in, it’s an individualized, personal experience, and I love that.
