Frequently Asked Questions

Our birth center is a facility within the hospital, giving you unparalleled care from midwives, OBGYNs, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals. We provide family-centered women's health, pregnancy, labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn services, all in a safe and comfortable setting.

We would love it if you toured our birth center and spoke with our staff before you make your decision. You can sign up for a tour online, do a virtual tour, or call and speak to our team to ask them any questions you may have.

Since we are a part of Rochester Regional Health, we do accept insurance. Please check with your insurance provider or our receptionists to ensure that we accept your specific insurance coverage.

Because we are a birth center located within Newark-Wayne Community Hospital, we are fully equipped and ready to manage any emergency. You and your baby will be closely monitored every step of the way, our experienced providers keeping an eye out for early signs of complication. If any emergencies arise, the appropriate specialists will be ready to help in no time.
