About Nicole Malec Huss
As the Vice President of Government Affairs at Rochester Regional Health, Nichole Malec Huss is dedicated to advancing the organization’s advocacy efforts across federal, state, and local levels. Nichole joined RRH in April 2021, with a strategic focus on policy, legislation, and funding opportunities, she serves as RRH’s chief representative to lawmakers and key stakeholders, fostering essential relationships that enhance the health system's priorities.
Nichole previously held the position of Vice President of Public Affairs at Constellation Brands, where she helped lead government and community relations initiatives, navigating complex regulatory environments and advocating for policies that aligned with the company’s mission.
Before joining Constellation Brands, Nichole served as Deputy Chief of Staff for then-NYS Assembly Majority Leader Joseph D. Morelle, where she managed the offices legislative initiatives and community advocacy efforts. Nichole has held additional professional roles in government and politics that has equipped her with a unique perspective on navigating the intersection of healthcare, policy, and community needs.
Nichole earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Public Policy from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
