Summer Student Volunteer Program | Rochester Regional Health

Program Description

This program is designed for high school and undergraduate students to have opportunities to:

Get a feel for what it is like to be in a hospital setting
Observe medical professionals and their interactions with patients
Gain experience in the medical field
Interact with patients and learn about their needs
Give back and make a difference

Students are eligible for this program if:

At least 14 by June 24^th, 2024 or an undergraduate student.
Participate in the entire program - from start to finish.
Attend required orientation (Dated TBD)

Session #1 (June 24^th- July 19th)
Session #2 (July 22^nd-August 16^th)

Applications

Session 1: Open March 4^th-April 5^th
Session 2: Open April 8^th-May 3rd

Group Interviews

Session #1:Week of April 15^th, 2024
Session #2: Week of May 13^th, 2024

Program Acceptance or Wait-List Decisions

Session #1: April 24th, 2024
Session #2: May 22^nd, 2024
