We offer the full range of surgical pathology, cytopathology and autopsy services, led by a team of experienced pathologists with subspecialty board certifications in, Cytopathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Molecular Genetics and a variety of fellowship training in other surgical pathology disciplines.
We collaborate with colleagues throughout the health system, participating in 30+ monthly interdisciplinary conferences and actively supporting oncology services in the Lipson Cancer Institute and Breast Center of Excellence. We also support and participate in numerous clinical trial studies each year, providing insights and performing rigorous data collection and reporting on pathology and cytology testing.
By leveraging our expertise, and using diagnostic techniques like flow cytometry, in-situ hybridization, and immunohistochemistry, we offer high-quality interpretation of nearly every type of tissue or fluid specimen encountered in research or clinical practice. We are also available to offer expert advice on test selection.

The Cytopathology Laboratory studies cells from the body under a microscope to spot signs of disease. The cytopathology lab is one of the largest in upstate New York, with board-certified cytopathologists and staff to assist with rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) procedures.
