Below, we've listed the meal and snack options for each of our Rochester Regional Health hospital locations. Visitors and patients are not allowed to bring patients here for a hospital stay any outside food or beverage unless approved by your doctor, dietitian or nurse. This is because some foods may be restricted as part of your recovery plan. Please ask your nurse or another care team member if you have any questions.
You will receive meals from a pre-selected menu based upon your prescribed diet. Family members or friends may join you by ordering a guest tray that can be ordered at the nurses’ station. Prices for guest trays are $2 for breakfast and $4 for lunch or dinner. Payment is requested upon delivery of the meal.

For patients admitted to the hospital, we offer a pre-selected menu featuring a special each meal. These menus are posted for the week in your room. If the Special does not meet your needs, there are alternate choices that you may select. We also offer Kosher and Vegetarian menus to patients on request. A clinical Dietitian is available to address your nutritional needs. For these services, call 24504 (inside the hospital) or (585) 922-4504 (outside the hospital).
Meal Times:
We offer a variety of retail services here on the Rochester General Hospital campus. The menus include freshly grilled items, snacks, pizza, or full meals. View our cafeterias and other dining options
A cafeteria is located on the Ground Floor at both North and Bank Streets. Both are open during regular meal hours. There are also vending machines available for your convenience.

You will be visited by a member of the Food and Nutrition Services Department to select meals for the following day.
Your nutritional needs are supervised by a dietitian. If you have any problems with your menu selections, food delivery or quality of your food, please contact the Food and Nutrition Services Department at extension 1501.
