Patients at Unity Hospital benefit from our dedicated "hospitalists" — physicians who specialize in hospital medicine and work with your entire health care team to ensure you receive the best possible care during your stay.
Each of our hospitalists is specially trained to deliver comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients. The hospitalist will be your physician during your stay. Since they're based right at Unity Hospital, they can treat your changing needs throughout the day, respond quickly to emergencies and better coordinate your plan of care.
Your hospitalist will stay in touch with your primary care doctor during your hospital stay and ensure that you have the proper follow-up care once you are discharged.

The division of Hospital Medicine at Unity Hospital is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care by collaborating with patients, families, primary care providers, specialists and support staff. We foster education in hospital-based medicine by mentoring medical residents, students, and advanced practice providers. We also lead and implement quality assurance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
