Fellowship-Trained Neurologic Care
Our neuropsychologists specialize in evaluating and treating people who have suffered brain injury, stroke, lack of oxygen, tumor or other conditions impacting the brain. They perform neuropsychological evaluations to determine the cognitive, behavioral and emotional consequences of these injuries. In addition, neuropsychologists assist all of our rehabilitation patients (whether they have suffered a brain injury, spinal cord injury, limb loss or other diagnosis) with counseling, as needed, to help with emotional adjustments to their disability as they recover.
Our neuropsychologists may also provide assessment of attention, concentration, memory, problem-solving skills, abstract reasoning, motor speed and executive functions (e.g., planning and organization). This valuable information is then used to determine specific rehabilitative needs and create a customized treatment plan.
