Christine A Blonski, DO

Dr. Blonski was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. Her father was a machinist for a regional hospital system, and her mother an OBGYN in a busy private practice. They instilled in her the value of working hard to achieve her goals and the importance of helping others whenever you can. She has an older brother and younger sister who live out of state, but they stay in close contact. She graduated from the University of Rochester and spent a few years working as a lab technician at Strong Memorial Hospital before leaving the area to attend medical school in San Francisco. Dr. Blonski returned to the region and completed her Family Medicine Residency training in Binghamton, then spent a year in Grand Rapids, Michigan for her sports medicine fellowship training year. She returned to Binghamton to help build the educational program in sports medicine in 2007, and stayed there in practice until she decided to move to Rochester to start anew. She joined Rochester General Hospital in 2013 and helped grow the sports medicine program from the ground up. She is the head Team Physician for the athletes at RIT, which most days seems like its own city. You will often catch her with her son, watching the RIT sports teams competing throughout the year.
