Dr. King is the newest physician at Partners in Internal Medicine, having joined the practice back in November of 2015. Dr. King attended Harvard for her undergraduate degree and then pursued her Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2004. She continued her residency at U of R in a combined program for both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is now board certified in both fields. She elected to stay an additional year to serve as Chief Resident of the Med-Peds Residency in 2008-2009. She then worked at Strong Hospital as a Hospitalist. While there, she was engaged in patient relations as well as active in teaching both medical students and residents. She continues to enjoy teaching, and is a preceptor for 2nd year medical students as well as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the U of R. A fellow of the American College of Physicians, Dr. King is active in the NY Chapter, serving both as a councilor for the Rochester region as well as on the health and public policy committee. Dr. King is excited to build her patient base here with a special interest in young adults and adolescents.
