Chronic pain is multifaceted and causes significant problems with a patient's quality of life. A multidisciplinary treatment plan is important to help patients find ways of maintaining and improving their quality of life. Pain Management is focused on helping patients find ways that they can reduce pain in a safe and effective way that allows them better quality of life along with improved functionality.
Dr. Chiang graduated from the University of Michigan with dual undergraduate degrees before graduating from the University of Michigan Medial Center. He did his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Rochester Primary Care Program, and worked as an Emergency Medicine physician at the University of Rochester. While there, he completed his Anesthesiology residence and Pain Medicine fellowship. Dr. Chiang is now a pain physician at the Center for Pain Management and within the Neurosciences department.
