Written references can be in the form of a teaching evaluation (which you can obtain from your counselor) or a written letter. At least 2 of your references should be from a teacher in Science, English, or Math, and 1 reference from an additional member of staff (teacher, counselor, administrator, etc.).
Note: Request that your high school counselor gives an official copy of your transcript record for your portfolio
After the Program Director reviews all components of your application and portfolio, you will be notified in writing of either: a decision to interview or a decision to decline admission. Admission decisions are made by the Program Director on a rolling basis by May 31st. (Date is subject to change).
If you're accepted into the Youth Apprentice Program, you will be expected to reply with your acceptance of the position in the program within 24 hours via email or phone.
