Visitor Restrictions & Screening Policies

Throughout the upcoming months, we may have to continue to implement masking as a strategy to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, RSV, and the flu virus for limited portions of time within our facilities. Masking may continue in certain high-risk areas including areas serving immunocompromised patients. Those areas will have signage explaining that masking remains mandatory.

About St. Mary's Medical Campus

St. Mary’s Campus is a unique healthcare and human services facility serving many needs of residents in the City of Rochester and neighboring communities. It is a hub for several programs and services, including:

  • Unity Family Medicine and Unity Dental Group, which provide primary medical care and full-service dentistry
  • Walk-In Care Center is open seven days a week from 9 am - 9 pm, including holidays. Most commonly provided treatments for infants, children and adults include fever, sore throat, cough, cold, flu, ear/eye infections, lacerations, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sprains, strains, and broken bones. The Urgent Care Center also offers outpatient x-ray services from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. Social Worker services available include screening for insurance eligibility and financial assistance.
  • Unity at Home, Unity's Licensed Home Health Aide Program, offers private-duty home health aide services to lend a caring hand in the comfort, convenience and security of an individual's home available 24/7
  • Unity Oncology/Hematology Emergency and psychiatric mental health services
  • A dialysis center that performs over 13,000 treatments annually for those with kidney disease
  • Health Care for the Homeless provides medical and dental care, nutrition services, health screenings, and outreach services
  • The Children’s Clothes Closet, operated by Unity’s volunteers, offers nearly new clothing free of charge to needy children and their families
  • Community programs, such as Sector 4 Community Development Corporation and Monroe County’s Women, Infant and Children Program are based here
  • Moore Park Apartments, an affordable 33-unit housing complex for individuals over 55
  • Unity Adult Day Services at St. Mary's, a day program for seniors that offers cultural and social activities

Directions

From the New York State Thruway, take Route 490 to Rochester. At exit 11, take Ames Street south to West Avenue and turn left. The St. Mary's Campus is on the right. Turn right onto Genesee Street.
