General Surgeon William Schu, MD, has diverse surgical experience, including caring for patients needing emergency general surgery, trauma care, minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgery, and colorectal procedures. He specializes in surgical evaluation and treatment for hernias, gallbladder disease, and digestive system disorders. Dr. Schu's training in advanced surgical techniques allows him to offer patients treatment options designed to minimize discomfort and promote faster recovery. He completed his General Surgery residency at Albany Medical Center and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
