At Rochester Regional Health, our philosophy is to meet and accept every individual wherever they are in their path to recovery. We support our patients in recognizing the harmful effects of continued substance abuse and help them adopt new skills to manage their addiction. And, because we know addiction affects the entire family, we provide practical support to family members and loved ones to better understand the nature of addiction, and the tools that are necessary for a successful recovery.
We are accepting new patients immediately – there is no need to wait to find the help you need. At Greece Behavioral Health Center, we are accessible for people with disabilities and provide interpreting services for those whose primary language is not English.
The most intensive form of rehabilitation treatment available, inpatient rehabilitation accommodates both the physical and psychological needs of all individuals in recovery – all in a safe environment allowing patients to focus on their recovery. As part of our patient-centered approach, we provide coordinated mental and medical care to best meet patients’ needs. Any patients on dialysis will receive help coordinating transportation with the dialysis center at Clifton Springs. If any patients are undergoing methadone treatment, we will work to coordinate and continue treatment during their time at our inpatient clinic.
Our newly-renovated recreation and activity center is available for use by participants. Nutrition is also an important component of recovery, which is why we provide a continental-style breakfast, along with lunch and dinner prepared on site. Nutritious snacks are also available at any time of day or night.
Addiction education, coping skills, return-to-use prevention, sober support networks, religious & spiritual consultation are part of the treatment process, allowing patients to develop healthy lifestyle changes.

By determining your goals related to substance use and harm reduction at the start of your time with us, we will customize your treatment plan to make sure you have the most successful outcome possible.
Our services include Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and a variety of process and skill-based group sessions, which can be extended to patients’ family members if they choose to participate. Depending your schedule and level of comfort, in-person and telehealth options are available.
For patients who identify as LGBTQ+, our providers offer an in-person affirming care group – even if you are receiving treatment at another Rochester Regional Health clinic. Our care team will collaborate with providers at your home clinic to ensure you can attend these groups while keeping your connection to your home group.

Patients who want to join this program undergo a pre-treatment screening to determine whether they meet the necessary criteria.
Once cleared for treatment, patients come in daily for 3-5 days to receive medication support and monitoring at the location, then are allowed to return home each day to detox.
